摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric material molding whose yield in processing is higher than that of a usual one and fining is easy, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The powder composition of the same composition as a Bi-Te system thermoelectric material [composition ratio of (Bi<SB>2</SB>Te<SB>3</SB>)<SB>0.25</SB>(Sb<SB>2</SB>Te<SB>3</SB>)<SB>0.75</SB>] is prepared by mixing Bi powder, Te powder and Sb powder. Then, 10g of the powder composition and ZrO<SB>2</SB>ball (ball size ofψ10mm/300g,ψ3mm/150g,ψ0.5mm/5g), which is an insulating material, are put inside a container of a ball mill device and agitated for 10 hours, and the powder composition is crushed and kneaded in a bowl. As a result, a spherical particle ofψ0.5mm which has a structure wherein the outer surface of a ball, a core, is coated with the Bi-Te thermoelectric material formed by crushing and kneading the powder composition is obtained. The spherical particle 1 has a structure wherein a coating layer 1b of the thermoelectric material is formed on the outer surface of the core 1a, and the coating thickness is about 2μm.
