PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car navigation device allowing recognition of a road and a place name even when a plurality of facilities are densely located in a displayed map. SOLUTION: A display screen is divided into a plurality of sections (step S40), and the number and the type of logomarks to be displayed in a single section are extracted (step S60). When a single section includes a plurality of logomarks to be displayed, one typical logomark is displayed (step S70). In this way, overlapping display of the logomarks is prevented when a road map of a town center, for example, in which convenience stores and the like are densely located, and a user can recognize display of the road and the place name other than the logomarks.
