PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color adjustment method for adjusting colors of a projected image in the optimal manner when a screen whereon the image is projected are slurred from white. SOLUTION: A display area of a screen 50 is divided into regions J and K. A standard image plate 60 is installed on the region J and white light is projected. A color adjusting image of the same pattern as a standard image drawn on the standard image plate 60 is projected onto the region K. In white adjusting processing, while paying attention to white portions of the color adjusting image and the standard image, the white portion of the color adjusting image is adjusted to be close to the white portion of the standard image. In color balancing processing, while paying attention to color balances of the entire color adjusting image and the entire standard image, the color balance of the color adjusting image is adjusted to be close to the color balance of the standard image. In specific color adjusting processing, while paying attention to portions in a specific color of the color adjusting image and the standard image, the specific color portion of the color adjusting image is adjusted to be close to the specific color portion of the standard image.
