PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic tuner which improves frequency characteristics in a VHF high band and a VHF low band while minimizing the cost rise of a device. SOLUTION: A coil L1 and a diode D1 are connected in series between an input part of an amplification circuit 2 and a ground, and a capacitor C1 is connected between a connection part of the coil L1 and the diode D1 and the ground. When a voltage from a VHF high control power source is in a high level, the diode D1 falls to a conductive state, and a gain compensation circuit for improving frequency characteristics of a reception signal in the VHF high band is formed by the coil L1 and an input capacity of the amplification circuit 2. When the voltage from the VHF high control power source is in a low level, the diode D1 falls to a non-conductive state, a trap circuit for improving frequency characteristics of a reception signal in the VHF low band is formed by the coil L1 and the capacitor C1.
