PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for managing a product in order to ensure profit of a legitimate proprietor of an intellectual property. SOLUTION: In the method for managing a product, i.e. a display module including an integrated circuit of transistors fabricated on a substrate using a thin film, a marking is formed using any one thin film constituting the transistor during a process for fabricating the transistor wherein information indicative of a specified subject related to the display module is provided through marking.
