PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building and a construction method therefor which enable a person to see through the exterior wall of the building and enable various design expressions imparted to the building. SOLUTION: Each floor of the building 10 or a first-floor part 1F of the building 10 is supported by a wall column 11 which is composed of plate-like glass so that whole pictures showpieces S in a show window can be seen from outside and so that a design such as uplifted building 10 is enabled.
