PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide out window enabling one worker to fit a sash by himself/herself with reduced number of parts. SOLUTION: A plurality of engagement pieces 27 are provided on a frame side plate 21 of an upper stay 20A mounted on an upper rail 11 of the sash 10 by rasing the plate, and an upper frame 3 of the window frame 1 is provided with positioning holes 5 for inserting the engagement pieces 27. The frame side plate 21 of the upper stay 20A is positioned by the engagement of the engagement pieces 27 with the positioning holes 5, and in that positioning state, a frame side plate 21 of a lower stay 20B mounted on a lower rail 12 of the sash 10 is placed on a flat part 6 of a lower frame 4. The frame side plate 21 is abutted on the inner surface of a lower corner part of the window frame 1 and abutted on a door stop wall 7 to position the frame side plate 21. Thus, the sash 10 is temporarily stopped by positioning the frame side plates 21 of the upper stay 20A and the lower stay 20B, and the frame side plates 21 are screwed with the sash 10 set free.
