SE-CONTAINING ALLOY FOR IMPROVING MACHINABILITY OF COPPER ALLOY

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Se-containing alloy with a low melting point for safely incorporating Se for improving machinability into a lead-less bronze alloy. SOLUTION: The Se-containing alloy with the low melting point comprises Se and one or more elements among Sn, Zn and Bi. The Se-containing alloy with the low melting point can be manufactured without fuming Se, further can be charged into the lead-less bronze alloy without fuming Se, and can improve the machinability of the lead-less bronze alloy by making it safely contain a desired amount of Se.
