PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide glass having stable and highly effective antifouling films on its both surfaces, which maintains high durability, in which the formation of flaws is almost suppressed in the manufacturing process, and a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The glass having the antifouling films is manufactured by using a glass sheet prepared by a float bath method comprising forming the glass sheet by gradually hardening molten glass while flowing it on an Sn bath, then first forming an alkaline shielding film on the top surface of the glass formed without contacting with the Sn bath, subsequently, forming the antifouling film on the alkaline shielding film, and finally forming the antifouling film on the bottom surface being the reverse surface of the top surface.
