PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sorting device for a container cap, capable of eliminating noises, being provided at a high position, completely sorting a front and a rear of the container cap, and providing a relatively simple structure. SOLUTION: In this sorting device for the container cap, a number of sectioning bars 10 at a constant pitch which can retain one container cap C in between them are fixed to one side of a surface of an inclined conveyor belt 4. A number of vacuum suction holes 11 are formed on the other side of the surface of the conveyor belt adjacent to the sectioning bars 10. The container cap C retained between the sectioning bars 10 is transferred and stopped at a mating surface position of the vacuum suction holes by a deflection member 16. The deflection member 16 is made to face the middle part of the conveyor belt 4. The container caps C in a cap hopper 1 are taken onto the conveyor belt 4 one by one by the sectioning bars 10 according to the driving of the conveyor belt 4. The front and the rear of the container cap C transferred to the mating position of the vacuum suction holes are sorted by a suction force of the vacuum suction holes 11 by the deflection member 16.
