LAWN GREENNESS RECOVERING AND MAINTAINING AGENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive natural applying agent having an prolonging effect on a lawn greenness sustaining period in winter and early recovery of greenness of lawns which have passed the winter and free from producing environmental pollution. SOLUTION: The greenness recovering agent or the greenness maintaining agent having as the active ingredient a sugar production by-product is applied to lawns before passing the winter or before starting fading or at the beginning of fading. The greenness recovery period in early spring for lawns which have passed a severe cold period (December-February) can be sped up by applying the lawn greenness recovering agent having as the active ingredient the sugar production by-product. Furthermore, the greenness sustaining period can be prolonged by applying the maintaining agent to lawns before starting fading or at the beginning of fading. The sugar production by-product which comprises a remaining product after collecting sugar content is usable even for food products, has no problem of environmental pollution and never gives harmful effect to human bodies at the time of spray.
