PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to install a rotary throttle valve type carburetor in a narrow location by making the overall height thereof shorter by reducing height dimensions of a carburetor body and a throttle valve. SOLUTION: A wall body 31 along an inner side circumference surface 3A of a valve hole 3 is formed projectingly upward on an outer side circumference edge part facing to a suction air passage 2 at an idling position of the throttle valve 4 to secure tightness in idling. A dent 32 in which the wall body 31 is fitted at an open position of the throttle valve 4 is provided on a cover body 12 closing a valve hole 3 to make it unnecessary to secure height of the valve hole in which the wall body 31 can rise. Consequently, height dimensions of the carburetor body 1 and the throttle valve 4 can be shortened. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
