A pendulum vibrator has a body 2 driven by a flexible shaft 4 and set into conical pendulum movement consequent upon the movement of rotation about its own axis in a swivel plummerblock 3, the vibrator having a baffle, such as 8 or 9, to collect lubricant that might accidentally flow through a flexible and elastic sealing joint 7. Absorbent material 10 may be provided in the baffles which prevent lubricant reaching a track 6 engaged by a conical portion 5 of the body 2. A succession of baffles may be provided on the body and on the casing which may be hollowed out to form the baffles.</p> |
