All the small support rolls (4) and larger guide rolls (3) for the track (1) are rotatably mounted in a running gear casing (9) via rocker shafts and rocker clamps, with vertical forces being directed into the casing via spring cylinders. These preferably hydraulic cylinders are interconnected via pipes and arranged to evenly balance the vertical forces acting upon all the rolls. The rocker shaft for the large guide roll and the rocker clamp connected to the clamping shaft for this roll are raised at a given suspension tension. Spring devices preferably comprising plate springs compensate for belt tension and are supported against the running gear casing. The spring devices act via connecting bolts against the rocker shaft or clamp.
