<p>A method and apparatus for refining triglyceride oils to produce haze-free, clear oils for use in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. The method includes subjecting unrefined triglyceride oils with moderate amounts of saturated fats to a sequence of thermally regulated and adsorbent aided filtrations followed by melting, crystallization, and filtration steps to produce translucent and clear oil that can be stored for long periods of time.</p> |
