<p>A bar code device (22) includes a main reflection plate (44) having a main surface (44A) and plural polarizers (80, 82, 86, 92, 96, 100, 102) arranged on at least part of plural regions defined by predetermined intervals and widths on the main surface (44A) and having polarization axes of which each equals to any one of plural directions. Codes are optically transmitted by light that is reflected by regions of the main surface (44A) which regions are where the polarizers (80, 82, 86, 92, 96, 100, 102) are arranged and where the polarizers are not arranged. A light transmission cover member (42) having the same color of the same hue as the polarizers may additionally be included.</p> |
