PURPOSE: A mobile communication terminal having an insertion-type antenna is provided to lead a part of the antenna, formed to be protruded to the outside of a body according to a transmitting and receiving rate of a radio wave, in and out the body. CONSTITUTION: A transmitting and receiving unit(110) transmits and receiving a radio wave. An electric field strength measuring unit(120) measures the level of an electric field strength inputted to the transmitting and receiving unit(110). An antenna driving unit(160) leads an antenna in and out a body. If the electric field strength measured in the electric field strength measuring unit(120) is greater than a reference value, a control unit(170) controls the operation of the antenna driving unit(160) for leading the antenna in the body. If the electric field strength is less than the reference value, the control unit(170) controls the operation of the antenna driving unit(160) for leading the antenna out the body.
