<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink for inkjet recording having a high printing quality, stable in ejection, and small in device load, an ink set and a manufacturing method for the set, and an inkjet recording device. <P>SOLUTION: The ink for inkjet recording has a pigment particle having a long axis to short axis ratio (σ) of not greater than 2, and the ink set for inkjet recording has a value of η(1-n(σ-1)) within ±5% as for inks of more than one color when using the viscosity (η) of the ink measured at a shear rate of 200 S<SP>-1</SP>at 20°C. In the manufacturing method for the ink set for inkjet recording, the value of η(1-n(σ-1)) is controlled within ±5% as for inks of more than one color, when it is measured at a specific shear rate and at a specific temperature. The inkjet recording device uses the ink for inkjet recording, a drive method by using an electrostriction element, and a head by thermal method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
