<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience of a compound function device in which a processing mode of a function selected out of a plurality of functions is set by an operating key of the selected function on a display part for displaying an operation picture equipped with the key. <P>SOLUTION: In the compound function device having the plurality of functions, while the operation picture equipped with the operating key for the selected function is displayed on the display part, when an operation of the other function different from the selected function is started in the compound function device, while displaying the operation picture equipped with the operating key for the selected function on the display part, an operating state of the other function is indicated on the display part and while displaying the operating state of the other function on the display part, a processing mode of the selected function is set by the operating key for the selected function, such that convenience is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
