<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus, its fraudulent usage preventing method, and its fraudulent usage preventing program preventing theft of the electronic apparatus installed in an environment allowing usage by an unspecified number of people, and preventing theft of information stored in the electronic apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus has an operation limiting part 102 setting a function limit of limiting and disabling execution of at least one part of functions provided in the electronic apparatus 100, an I/F 106 for connecting an external device, an external device information acquiring part 103 acquiring device specifying information for specifying the external device connected via the I/F 106 from the device, a writing control part 107 associating the function limit with the device specifying information of the predetermined external device and using them as a password key, an NVRAM 105 storing the password key, and a comparing part 104 deciding whether or not device specifying information acquired from an external device connected via the I/F 106 matches with the password key stored in the NVRAM 105.
