EXTRACELLULAR POTENTIAL MEASURING DEVICE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a method for accurately achieving a shape is expected, wherein the size of an opening at a well side of a recess for retaining the cell of a specimen and the size of a through-hole side need to be set to two stages, when a plurality wells need to be arranged in a substrate with high density, in an extracellular potential measuring device.

SOLUTION: The substrate 1 comprises a a base 2; an intermediate layer 3 made of a material differing from the base 2; and the laminated structure of a thin plate 4 made of nearly the same material as the base. At least one well 5 is provided inside the base 2, and at least one through-hole 6 leading to the well 5 and the outside of the substrate 1 is provided inside the thin plate 4.
