PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press die and a pedestal of excellent corrosion resistance in which a corrosion-resistant metal covered layer of the thickness of ≥ 100 μm and ≤ 5 mm by thermal spraying is formed on a surface of the press die in contact with the pedestal and a contact surface of the pedestal.

SOLUTION: This press die of excellent corrosion resistance has a corrosion-resistant metal covered layer of ≥ 100 μm and ≤ 5 mm by thermal spraying on a surface of the press die in contact with the pedestal. The die of excellent corrosion resistance has a corrosion-resistant metal covered layer of ≥ 100 μm and ≤ 5 mm by thermal spraying on a surface of the pedestal in contact with the press die.
