<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stop lamp switch having excellent oil resistance and dust resistance and easy to assemble, in relation to a stop lamp switch used for lighting/lighting-out control or the like of a stop lamp mainly in a brake pedal operation of an automobile. <P>SOLUTION: This stop lamp switch is composed by mounting a seal member 18 having elasticity between an upper edge side wall of a case 11 with fixed contacts 3 implanted, and an operation shaft 12 vertically movably housed in the case 11 and used for connecting and disconnecting a moving contact 4 to/from the fixed contacts 3.
