PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a serving cart which can continue operations as before after power supply restoration even when power is once interrupted, etc. during the operations and to compensate for a time consumed by the power interruption when the time of the power interruption exceeds a prescribed time. SOLUTION: Respectively different food materials are dished up on a plurality of dishes each having a conductive layer at its bottom. The dishes are placed at the prescribed positions of a tray and housed in the divided chambers of a serving cart. The bottom of each divided chamber is divided with a shelf plate 5, and a plurality of induction heating coils 14 are buried corresponding to the positions of the dishes in the inside of the shelf plate. Each coil 14 is individually controlled by a controller, and its operating state is always maintained during operation. When power interruption, etc. occurs, and after the restoration of power supply, the operation is continued from a state just before the power interruption when the period of the power interruption is shorter than a prescribed time. When the period of the power interruption is not shorter than the prescribed time, the output of the coils 14 are increased by a prescribed rate and the operation is continued.
