PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker with improved safety and cooking usability preventing the slippage of an object to be heated by making an object to be heated hard to slip by forming a cover with high friction coefficient on the surface of a top plate made of nonmagnetic substance arranged on the top surface of a main body. SOLUTION: A cover 7 with high friction coefficient is formed on the surface of the top plate 2 installed at an upper part of the main body. By the above, as the surface has a structure of hard to slip, safety and and cooking usability are improved when the object to be heated like a cooking pot is put on the top plate. As the object to be heated 8 is hard to slip, input-output response to a thermistor 3, especially important in an induction heating method, can be carried out appropriately, and cooking performance can be demonstrated effectively.
