PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder piston device capable of compacting the structure and reducing the number of components. SOLUTION: A first operation space 4 can be communicated with a second operation space 3 via a first valve openable under a predetermined pressure. The second operation space can be communicated with the first operation space via a second valve openable under the predetermined pressure. A balancing chamber 20 can store displacement of the first operation space larger than that of the second operation space. The balancing chamber is arranged in a piston 2, the first operation space can be connected to the balancing chamber via the first valve, and the second operation space can be connected to the balancing chamber via the second valve.
