PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time required for detecting adhesion deviation of a cover sheet without increasing the equipment costs. SOLUTION: A cover sheet adhesion deviation detection device is provided with an irradiation part 2 which irradiates one main surface of a side on which a cover sheet is laminated with light; a light receiving part 3 which receives the light reflected by the one major surface and outputs a signal corresponding to the received light; a detection circuit 4 which generates a total light intensity signal corresponding to the light intensity received and a position signal corresponding to the receiving position of the light based on a signal outputted from a light receiving means; discriminates whether the position signal reaches the predetermined level in a zone where the total light intensity signal reaches the predetermined level; and outputs a signal indicating an adhesion deviation exists in the cover sheet when it is discriminated that the position signal has reached the predetermined level in the segment where the total light intensity signal reaches the predetermined level.
