PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excrement treating material for a pet, with which water of excrement such as pet dung, is rapidly absorbed in the inside of the excrement treating material when the pet discharges the excrement. SOLUTION: The excrement treating material is obtained by sticking a mixture of three kinds of a granular assembly consisting essentially of vegetable microfibers having 50-75% water content made into a cotton state, powdery calcium carbonate and a powdery starch to the surface of the granular assembly. The excrement treating material comprises 90-99 pts. wt. of the granular assembly and 1-10 pts. wt. of the mixture. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
