PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal for a stranded wire that is superior in jointing performance with the stranded wire and small in size and does not require an extra-length stranded wire. SOLUTION: The terminal 1 for the stranded wire is a terminal for jointing the stranded wire 7, and side walls 3 are provided on both sides of the stranded wire jointing part 2, and the height of the side wall 3 is such a height that suppresses the protrusion of the jointed stranded wire 7 to be jointed and can cover the stranded wire jointing part 2 of the terminal 1 for stranded wire by a sealing material airtightly. It is desirable that the height h (mm) of the side wall 3 satisfies a formula 0.6d≥h≥0.1d, provided that d is a diameter (mm) of the stranded wire. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
