PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device using a thin film electron source eliminating unevenness of display based on voltage drop caused by wiring resistance of scanning lines and enhancing reliability in an upper bus electrode. SOLUTION: Image information is displayed by line sequential driving method using a lower electrode as a signal line and the upper bus electrode as a scanning line with the upper bus electrode constituted with multilayer interconnection connected through through holes in an interlayer insulation layer.
