PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the time lag caused by the accessing time when skipping the tracks. SOLUTION: First, the memory area is divided into a first and a second areas for controlling in a buffer memory which can hold the data read out from a disk recording medium recoded with the data on its audio tracks. The first area is used to time sequentially store the data reproduced from the disk. The second area is further divided into one or more sectors allocated with the predetermined capacity, making each sector store at least part of the data (head of the data). Thus controlling the memory, it becomes possible to read and reproduce the data from the divided areas as far as the data are stored in the divided areas of a recording disk medium.
