FREEZING PREVENTION DEVICE FOR PIPE OF WATER HEATER HEAT EXCHANGER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freezing prevention device for the pipes of a water heater heat exchanger allowing a large calorific value to be provided to the pipes and a water heater heat exchanger to be installed at a specified position with a less space margin by forming a heater in a plate shape. SOLUTION: A heater holding metal 22 is formed of a deformable heat conductive material. Pipe connection parts 28b and 30b and a communication part 34 for fixing the heater 24 are formed on the heater holding metal 22. The thickness of the pipe connection part is reduced so that the pipe connection part can be deformed according to the shape of the pipe. The deformable heater formed thin in a plate shape is fixed to the communication part 34. Even if a margin is not provided in spaces around the installed position of the water heater heat exchanger, the water heater heat exchanger can be disposed at a specified position with the heater holding metal fixing the heater fixed to the pipe.
