PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel system having a ventilating structure capable of preventing or at least blocking intrusion of water, snow, sediment, etc. into a fuel container while devised to supply and discharge atmospheric air to and from the fuel container in the case when a vehicle has no constitutional part suitable to mount on a second end part of a tube communicated to the fuel container. SOLUTION: An evaporative fuel system is provided. The evaporative fuel system has a fuel tank and a conduit run. The conduit run has the first end part connected to the fuel tank and the second end part. The ventilating structure is connected to the second end part of the conduit run. The ventilating structure has a housing and an air passage which is a route formed in the housing and at least one part of which is bent. A first port to connect the air passage to the conduit run is formed in the housing. A second port to connect the air passage to the atmospheric air is formed in the housing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
