PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a self-extinguishing flame-retardant sheet which leaves little ash behind after burned and has a high sealing strength. SOLUTION: This self-extinguishing flame-retardant sheet is formed from a composition having a minute ash content and prepared by compounding 100 pts.wt. resin prepared by compounding (a) 100-30 wt.% urethane resin with (b) 0-70 wt.% ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and (c) 10-70 wt.% at least one polymer selected from an ethylene-ethyl acrylate copolymer and a low-density polyethylene with 5-80 pts.wt. at least one flame retardant selected from dicyandiamide, hydrazodicarbonamide, and melamine cyanurate.
