PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile crane capable of attaching and detaching a counterweight easily in short time even at a place where there is a height limitation without need for high lift work on a boom. SOLUTION: An arm 24 which is rotated by an arm operating cylinder and which includes a guide sheave 26 at the end of the arm 24 is provided on a gantry 10 at the upper side of a boom supporting bracket 6 protruded at a swing frame 5 of the mobile crane. A first guide sheave 21 and a second guide sheave 22 are mounted on the upper end surface of the boom supporting bracket 6, and a third guide sheave 23 is mounted on the swing frame 5. A weight lifting rope 29 of which one end connects to the counterweight is hung by the guide sheave 26, the first, the second, and the third sheaves 21, 22, 23. The weight lifting rope 29 is hung on a hook 7a and is pulled by a main hoisting winch 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
