PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a console box convenient for use in which its front box door is used as a table. SOLUTION: In the console box, the box door provided at the upper part of the console box is divided into two parts as a rear box door 11 and a front box door 12 in the longitudinal direction, allowing the hinge shaft 14 provided to the supporting arm 13 extending from the rear box door 11 to support the front box door 12, while enabling the front box door 12 to rotate centering around the hinge shaft 14 and turned over to be used as a table. A plate spring 15 is provided near the hinge shaft 14 of the front box door 12 and an abutting piece 17 is provided near the hinge shaft of the supporting arm 13, so that the plate spring 15 is arranged to, after contacting the abutting piece 17, increase its spring force when the front box door 12 is rotated to the application state as a table.
