PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet apparatus which makes a user not feel crammed in a toilet room. SOLUTION: The toilet apparatus is provided with: a toilet body 4 with a built-in toilet function provided transversely on the rear end of a toilet bowl 1; a toilet seat 2 provided at the toilet body and positioned over the toilet bowl; and an openable and closable toilet cover 3 covering at least the toilet seat. The toilet cover is formed of a toilet cover outer peripheral part 5 and a cover panel 6 being an inner peripheral part surrounded by the toilet cover outer peripheral part. The toilet cover outer peripheral part is formed integrally with the cover panel formed in advance, and the colors of the toilet cover outer peripheral part and the cover panel are different from each other. The whole shape of the toilet cover looks compact, and the toilet cover looks more compact when it covers the toilet bowl 1. Moreover, at the joining part of the toilet cover outer peripheral part and the cover panel on the top face of the toilet cover, a gap to which dirt is stuck is not generated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
