<p>A method of providing a service to a mobile communication device is described. A mobile station (20) equipped to communicate with a mobile communication network (1) is used as the mobile communication device. A trigger signal source unit (30) for wirelessly transmitting a trigger signal is provided, where the mobile station (20) is equipped to receive the trigger signal. Subsequent to the mobile station (20) receiving said trigger signal, a service providing procedure for letting said mobile communication network (1) provide a service to said mobile station (20) is initiated. The service providing procedure comprises sending a service identifier to a service control entity (112) of the mobile communication network (1), where the service identifier is provided by said trigger signal source unit (30). Subsequent to receiving the service identifier, said service control entity (112) conducts a service determination procedure on the basis of the service identifier, for determining the service to be provided to the mobile station (20).</p> |
