Data terminal for a DAB-receiver

The data terminal is connected to the DAB receiver and evaluates the bit stream of a decoder contained in the DAB receiver. The frame identifier in the bit stream is evaluated by the data terminal which sets the parameters for processing the bit stream according to the frame identifier identified and using a set of parameters in the data terminal memory. The data terminal generates a fault message if no set of parameters is present in the memory for the frame identifier which is detected.
