<p>The method involves non-intrusive measurement of the voice signal transition time, echo damping, signal noise separation, voice signal level, background noise, voice signal clarity and compression type and real-time or quasi-real-time evaluation using a defined algorithm and switching on or not switching on a device for influencing voice quality in the signal path depending on the result. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) an arrangement for implementing the inventive method (b) a telecommunications system, especially an automatic private branch exchange, with an inventive arrangement (c) and a voice-over-IP-gateway with an inventive arrangement.</p> |
