The circuit has a switch (SE) in the power electronics (LE) supplying the 14 Volt branch, whose input is connected to the 42 Volt branch, which switches to earth its output to the 14 Volt branch if there is a short circuit between the 14 and 42 Volt branches and trips a breaker in the 14 Volt branch or the 42 Volt branch. The switch can be part of a controller (SG) connected to the 14 Volt branch via a supply line.
