Cyclone has a turbulence chamber (1) connected to a tubular flow channel (2). The inner surfaces of the turbulence chamber and the inner surfaces of the flow channel consists of a hard material made from tungsten carbide containing maximum 12 % nickel and/or chromium or maximum 15 % chromium.
