TEXTURING METHOD FOR LANDING ZONE

PURPOSE: A texturing method for a landing zone is provided to pluralize an altitude of a bump shaped in a landing zone, in order to stabilize a flying altitude of a head slider in a hard disk drive. CONSTITUTION: A disk(2) is divided into a data zone(DZ) where user data is recorded and a landing zone(LZ) where a head slider is located when a drive is not used. The landing zone(LZ) includes a gradual transition area(A) of a bump altitude(h). The gradual transition area(A) of the bump altitude(h) is an area for shaping a bump(4) such that the altitude(h) of the bump(4) can be gradually decreased up to an ID(Inner Diameter) of the data zone(DZ) from a predetermined area of the landing zone(LZ).
