PURPOSE: To provide a parking support device supporting the parking operation of a driver for easily parking his/her own vehicle in a reference position during tandem parking or parallel parking. CONSTITUTION: This parking support device supports the driver so that the driver carries out parking operation from the reference position to a target parking position after stopping the vehicle once in the predetermined reference position, from which the driver observes the target parking position intended to park the vehicle on the lateral side of the vehicle. The lateral side of the vehicle is photographed by means of a camera 40 arranged in the vehicle front part, and an image photographed by the camera 40 is displayed in an image display means 15 arranged in a cabin of the vehicle. Then, an indicator 41 guiding the vehicle to the reference position is superimposed and displayed on the image by an image information control means 50.
