PURPOSE: A chair for a waist and abdomen exercise is provided to lose the weight of the waist and abdomen which is not easily lost, by promoting a concentrated exercise effect to the waist and abdomen by making the hip and legs movable in the left and right directions with the body being fixed to a back support. CONSTITUTION: The chair is made by fixing a leg portion(100), a seat plate portion(200) and a back support portion(300) to a frame(400). Multistage belts(301) for fixing the upper body of a user are disposed to the back support portion(300). The seat plate portion(200) includes: a base plate(201) fixed to the frame(400); and a seat plate(202) having a smaller surface than the base plate(201) and being placed on the base plate(201). A leg fixing board(208) is disposed on the center of the front surface of the seat plate(202) and is held between the legs to fix the thigh regions of the legs. A sliding unit(500) is interposed between the seat plate(202) and the base plate(201) to make the seat plate(202) slidable on the base plate(201) in the left and right directions.
