PURPOSE: Provided is a sharp pencil which forms a lead adjuster at the upper part of a case to adjust the length of a pencil lead freely when pushing a compression tool so that it prevents the pencil lead from being broken. CONSTITUTION: The sharp pencil comprises the parts of: a front cap(10) which forms a suspension sill(11) to stop a chuck(60) and a sleeve(42) after moving to a certain distance; a case(20) which is bound with the front cap to form projections(21) at the upper part; the lead adjuster(30) which is configured in a hexagonal structure to form a groove(31) in a corresponding to the projections formed at the case; a slider(40) which is configured in a hexagonal shape to match to internal shape of the lead adjuster at one side with forming a screw part(41) to bind a screw part at the other side and forming the sleeve to stop the chuck; a lead box(50) which stores the pencil leads inside the slider; and a spring(70) which provides recovery power to return to an original location after pressure is given to the sleeve.
