VACUUM PRE-COOLING SYSTEM FOR AGRICULTURAL CROP PRODUCTS

PURPOSE: Provided is a vacuum pre-cooling system for agricultural crop products which reduces the ambient pressure of agricultural crop products using vacuum condition to facilitate evaporation and consequently decreases temperature of them. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum pre-cooling system comprises conveyors(7,9) which transfers agricultural crop products to be pre-cooled to a vacuum chamber(2); a door(1) which is fitted to the inlet of the vacuum chamber, open and shut by slide motion, and made airtight by an air cylinder(12); a vacuum pump(3) which reduces the pressure inside the vacuum chamber; a cold trap which is installed inside the vacuum chamber and condenses moisture thereinside; and a cooling device(6) which reduces the temperature of the cold trap.
