PURPOSE: A throttle opening degree control device of a TCS(Traction Control System) and a method thereof are provided to exactly detect a control value of a motor by continuously comparing the current value of the motor and a desired value to prevent the occurrence of overshooting. CONSTITUTION: A throttle opening degree control device of a TCS comprises a throttle valve opening degree motor(M) changing the operation of a throttle actuator changing the opening degree of a throttle valve by operating in a corresponding direction according to a control signal applied; a throttle position-sensing part(1) sensing the position of the throttle actuator and outputting a corresponding signal by vertically moving according to the rotation state of the throttle valve opening degree motor; and an operation control part(2). The operation control part determines the current position of the throttle actuator by the signal output from the throttle position-sensing part, calculates an error between the current position and a desired position, setting up an average value of a control value of the throttle valve opening degree motor corresponding to the current position and a desired control value into a new desired control value according to the error, and outputting the new desired control value to the throttle valve opening degree motor.
