PURPOSE: A tuyere observation member for switching a plurality of shielding glasses having different colors is provided which is capable of observing conditions inside blast furnace irrespective of brightness inside the blast furnace by rotating the plurality of shielding glasses having different colors. CONSTITUTION: In a tuyere observation member for observing the inside of the blast furnace by fixing heat resistant glass(7) and shielding glass to the body(6) of the observation member extended to blowing pipe of blast furnace, the tuyere observation member comprises a switching body(31) comprising a through hole(33) formed adjacently to the body(32) of heat resistant glass for receiving the heat resistant glass, a shielding glass protecting member(34) formed adjacently to the through hole, and a heat resistant glass(7) positioned at an outer end part of the body(6) of the observation member, wherein the body(32) of the heat resistant glass is connected to the switching body; a shielding glass body(41) comprising a shielding glass receiving part(43) at one end of which catching projection is formed to receive shielding glasses(21,22,23) having different colors, on an inner part of the other end of which screw thread is formed, and which is arranged on the circumference of switching shaft(42), wherein the switching shaft is inserted into the through hole of the switching body; and a fixing member(44) connected to the other end of the shielding glass receiving part to fix the shielding glasses.
