STRUCTURE FOR DRAINING WATER IN HEAT EXCHANGER

PURPOSE: Drain structure of water in a heat exchanger is provided to decrease flow resistance of air and improve performance of the heat exchanger by quickly discharging condensate on the flat tube with inclining the flat tube to the ground. CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger is composed of headers(11,12) formed of cylindrical type to distribute refrigerant to channels and collect by connecting the inlet to the discharge port of a compressor or an expansion unit; at least a flat tube(13) or more combined with the outer periphery of the header in order and vertically communicated with the header with the refrigerant passage to exchange heat by distributing refrigerant from the headers; and cooling fins(14) contacted and combined with the flat tubes to enlarge the contact area with air. The flat tube is inclined to the ground, and the center of the flat tube is bent. A water drain guide member is formed in the bent portion of the flat tube to discharge condensate actively.
